Why use a pop-up to gain new contacts

Setting up a pop-up window is one of the fastest ways to turn your website visitors into real customers and contacts.

Immediately grab attention: They reach visitors exactly at the moment when they are most engaged with your website.

Significantly speed up email collection: Pop-up windows have a significantly higher conversion rate than a standard form in the website footer.

Recover leaving customers: With the exit pop-up feature, you can display an offer at the moment when a user is about to leave the website and bring them back into the game.

Increase sales: An ideal place for limited-time promotions, discount codes, or free shipping offers.

What is a teaser:

A teaser is a small element that gently reminds visitors about your offer – for example, with text such as “Get 10% off 🎁”

After clicking, a scenario will be generated:

1. Web was displayed block settings:

Audience: Here you can choose whether the pop-up should be displayed to known or unknown contacts. A known contact is someone who meets at least one of the following conditions:

registers in the e-shop

subscribes via the pop-up

clicks a link in a newsletter

If one of these events occurs, we match the customer with their browser and start collecting data about them. Otherwise, the contact is considered unknown.

Conditions: Here you can set whether the teaser should be displayed after a certain amount of time spent on the page, after a certain percentage of the page has been viewed, or when the visitor is about to leave the page. If you set multiple conditions, the teaser will be displayed when all selected conditions are met at the same time.

Target: Here you can set the teaser to be displayed only on specific pages, only within a certain category, or for a specific product.

2. Teaser:

Allow teaser to be closed: You can choose whether users are allowed to close the teaser.

Design: Here you can configure the text design and the position where the teaser will be displayed.

Preview: Here you can see the changes you have made.

3. Pop-up:

Create your pop-up. Our templates will help you with this – you can choose a style and then edit the text.

Email address validation when filling in the pop-up

Do you want to prevent people from repeatedly signing up through the pop-up after they have already subscribed once? Set up pop-up validation for the confirmation button. Click the row containing the confirmation button and an editing window will appear, where you can select the "Validate on submit" option.

4. Double opt-in

It may seem that confirming an email address in the user's inbox only slows them down, but in practice this setting protects you from typos and invalid addresses and helps protect you against spammers.

The Add email button for double opt-in redirects you to the Templates section, where you can choose a suitable system or custom template and edit it.

An important part of the confirmation email is the Email verification button.

¨

Add contacts to a list: Here you can select which of your lists the contact will be added to once they confirm their email address.

The final step is to add the email template that will be sent to the customer after they confirm the double opt-in.

Once the customer confirms their subscription, the system automatically sends them a welcome email. In it, you can welcome the new subscriber to your e-shop and include the promised discount coupon.

Your campaign is ready and you can launch it.
