Why send A/B tests?
A/B testing replaces estimates and guesswork with real data. It lets you test different versions of an email on a small sample of recipients, then send the best-performing version to the remaining majority of your database.
What you can test
- Email subject and preheader: These directly affect how many people open your email in the first place.
- Sender name: Test whether your company name or a person’s name works better, for example, John from Company.
- Content and design: Different copy, images, offers, or the placement and colour of the call-to-action (CTA) button can affect click-through rates.
How to set up A/B testing
The original screenshots show the Czech interface. The instructions below include the corresponding Czech labels so you can follow each step.
1. Create a new campaign
In the Campaigns menu (Kampaně), click New campaigns (Nové kampaně), then New campaign (Nová kampaň).

2. Choose an empty SmartFlow and give it a name

Click the pencil icon next to the SmartFlow name to edit it. For example, enter A/B test.

3. Set the scheduled start
Choose a trigger and select Scheduled start (Naplánovaný start).

In Scheduled start, set the date when the campaign should start.
4. Select your contacts
A contact selection block is added automatically.

In Contact selection (Výběr kontaktů), choose the audience you want to reach.
5. Add the A/B Test with Email block
Finally, add the A/B Test with Email block (A/B test s e-mailem). You will find it under Actions (Akce).

6. Configure the test group, templates and winning criterion

- Templates A and B (Šablony): Add the templates for the two email variants here.
- Winning criterion (Kritérium vítězství): Choose the criterion used to evaluate the A/B test and how long to wait before sending the winning variant to the rest of your audience.
7. Confirm and schedule the campaign
Once these settings are complete, all that remains is to confirm and schedule the campaign.

A known contact is someone who meets at least one of the following conditions:
registers in the e-shop
subscribes via the pop-up
clicks a link in a newsletter
If one of these events occurs, we match the customer with their browser and start collecting data about them. Otherwise, the contact remains unknown to us.
Conditions: Here you can set whether the pop-up or teaser should be displayed after a certain amount of time spent on the page, after a certain percentage of the page has been viewed, or when leaving the page. If you set multiple conditions, it will be displayed once all selected conditions are met at the same time.

Click the row with the confirmation button and an editing window will appear, where you can check the "Validation on submit" option.

Double opt-in
It may seem that confirming an email in the user's inbox only slows them down, but in practice this setting protects you from typos and invalid addresses and helps protect you from spammers.

Add email button for double opt-in redirects you to the Templates section, where you can choose a suitable template from the system or your own templates and edit it.

An important part of the confirmation email is the Email Verification button.

Add contacts to list: Here you select which of your lists the contact will be added to once they confirm their email.
Send Email
The final step is to add the email template that will be sent to the customer after they confirm the double opt-in.

Once the customer confirms their subscription, the system automatically sends them a welcome email. In it, you can welcome the new subscriber to your e-shop and include the promised discount coupon.
Your campaign is now ready and you can launch it.

Informational Teaser with Pop-up
An informational pop-up combined with a teaser is used to quickly communicate an important message to website visitors. Unlike standard pop-ups, it is not used to collect email addresses, but purely to provide practical information (e.g. Christmas delivery deadlines, changes to opening hours, maintenance notices, or promotional announcements).

Why use a pop-up to gain new contacts
Setting up a pop-up window is one of the fastest ways to turn your website visitors into real customers and contacts.
Immediately grab attention: They reach visitors exactly at the moment when they are most engaged with your website.
Significantly speed up email collection: Pop-up windows have a significantly higher conversion rate than a standard form in the website footer.
Recover leaving customers: With the exit pop-up feature, you can display an offer at the moment when a user is about to leave the website and bring them back into the game.
Increase sales: An ideal place for limited-time promotions, discount codes, or free shipping offers.

Incomaker will soon be available in Perplexity’s app catalog, but until then, the MCP can be fully used in developer mode. From a user’s perspective, there is no difference. During the connection process, Perplexity will warn you about security risks. If you follow this procedure correctly, you don’t face any security risks, but it is somewhat more laborious than connecting a registered app. The registered Incomaker app should appear in Perplexity in the near future.
In Perplexity, open Connectors.

Click Add Custom Connector:

Enter the required information into the following table.
Use the following icon:

Then proceed to Advanced.

In the Client ID field, enter the E-shop UUID, which you can find in Incomaker under E-shop Info in the bottom left:

You’ll also need to confirm the risk disclosure statement. However, if you’ve followed this procedure exactly and haven’t disclosed your API keys or other codes to anyone, you don’t need to worry.

You should now see the login screen for the Incomaker app. Click Sign in with Incomaker:

Expand it and click Add Connector in the top right corner.
Finally, a dialog box should appear prompting you to enter your API key. You’ll also find this in Incomaker, on the same page as the E-shop UUID from before.
After that, the MCP server should fully connect and respond to your queries. You could try, for example: “Give me the results of a few campaigns from the last month”

After that, the MCP server should be fully connected and ready to respond to your requests. You can try something like: “Show me the results of several campaigns from the last month.”
What is Incomaker MCP?
Incomaker MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a server that allows AI agents (such as Claude, Codex, Cursor, etc.) to access your account’s data and analytics. Simply state the requested tasks to the agent in natural language.
⚠️ Important note: In the current version, the connection works in read-only mode. The tool is therefore primarily intended for data analysis, reporting, and retrieving information. Currently, it cannot be used to create new campaigns, upload contacts, or modify settings.
Examples of what you can ask (reading and data analysis):
• “Show me the campaign performance for the last month.”
• “Which conversion SmartFlows have the highest revenue?”
• “How many contacts unsubscribed in February?”
• “Which products do customers most often buy together?”
Where can I find my API key?
For a successful connection, you will need your unique API key. You can get it as follows:
1. Log in to your Incomaker account. 2. Go to the E-shop info section. 3. At the bottom left of the page, you will find the API key item. 4. This token is exclusively yours and is secret. Copy it and replace the text YOUR_API_KEY with it in all the examples below.
The universal server address for all platforms is: https://mcp.incomaker.com/mcp
Setup for your platform
If you do not want to edit files manually, you can simply tell your AI tool that you want to install this MCP server and provide the given code with your API key. After successful installation, restart the application.
Opencode
For Opencode, the designation “remote” is used in the configuration instead of the standard “http” type. Add the following code snippet to your configuration file and do not forget to insert your API key:
{ “mcpServers”: { “incomaker”: { “type”: “remote”, “url”: “https://mcp.incomaker.com/mcp”, “headers”: { “Authorization”: “Bearer YOUR_API_KEY” } } }}
Claude Desktop
Open the configuration file for the Claude Desktop application:
• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json• Windows: %APPDATA%Claudeclaude_desktop_config.jsonAdd a new mcpServers section to it:
{ “mcpServers”: { “incomaker”: { “type”: “http”, “url”: “https://mcp.incomaker.com/mcp”, “headers”: { “Authorization”: “Bearer YOUR_API_KEY” } } }}
After saving the file, restart the Claude Desktop application. You will then find the available Incomaker tools under the MCP icon.
Claude Code (CLI)
In the root folder of your project (or in your home folder for global settings), create or edit the .mcp.json file. Paste the same configuration into it as shown above for Claude Desktop, and save the file.
The server will be detected automatically, which you can verify with the > health_check command.
Cursor
In the Cursor editor settings, go to Settings → MCP and add a new server with the following details:• Name: incomaker• Type: HTTP• URL: https://mcp.incomaker.com/mcp• Authorization Header: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY
OpenAI Codex (CLI)
You can add a new server by simply running this command in your terminal:
codex mcp add incomaker –transport streamable_http –url https://mcp.incomaker.com/mcp –header “Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY”
You can then verify the configuration by entering the command codex mcp get incomaker.
